Which TV satellite carrier is better — Dish Network or DirecTv? ?

Which satellite carrier is a better deal? We’ve had Dish Network for 6 years, but the receiver is broken. Do we purchase a new DishNetwork receiver and stick with them, or should we switch to DirecTV, who offers equipment/install/etc free of initial charge?
Thanks! Appreciate any advice on this one…it’s so frustrating.

both are really the same just go with one you think is best
I would think that competition would keep them close but from what I’ve heard Directv has the more complete packages with many channels standard that Dish charges more for.
