I am 47 years old, and haven’t played a video game myself since
the original Doom, in the mid-1990’s. I checked Amazon.com and
see that popular or upcoming video games that are doing well are:

1. Fallout 3
2. Far Cry 2
3. Call of Duty: World at War
4. Brothers in Arms: Hell’s Highway
5. Gears of War 2

What apparently is a re-release of an older game, "The Witcher: Enhanced Edition", also got good reviews, particularly for graphics.

My nephew, who is a good kid, isn’t obsessed with video games, but
does enjoy them. He runs Windows Vista. Last Christmas, he said
that he wanted the game called "Orange Box" as a gift. I don’t know
what games he owns but will check with his Mom before I send one.

Can somebody please outline to me the nature of problems connected with the GTA4 PC game. Most of the stuff I have gathered from reviews, etc seems overly biased one way or another. Specifically, is it true that you need a LIVE account to save your game? And is there any way to get past this and save my progress on the PC’s hard drive like every other game?
If it’s an issue, my PC is Intel Core i7 with ATI HD4850 graphics card and 6GB DDR3 RAM. It should be able to play the game.

I used to play forza and now play forza 3 with my friends on xbox. I want to know what is a game very close to forza 3 for my pc. I want it to have good graphics and car customizations like in forza… i looked at need for speed shift. any suggestions/reviews would be great. thanks

I was going to check out Section 8 but I kept hearing mixed reviews about that so I am not sure if I want to spend the on it.

I was also going to pick up Demigod but then I found out it was P2P and I don’t really want to deal with that again after Wolf team. So anyway, I like RPGs, FPS, and the occasional RTS. Also please no pay to play games.

any good? i thought it was supposed 2 b good, BUT when i went on Amazon.com it had like seriously 2,000 1 star reviews and like 200 5 star reviews, ect. i dont know whether its good or bad cuz it seemed like most of the 1 star reviews were from techy peeps who were dissapointed it wasnt ‘revolutionary’. anyway, is it any good pleez hurry, cuz i wanted it for christmas till i saw the reviews, soooooooooooooooooooo- what do u think?!?!?!?!? pleez i need alot info IM CONFUSED

I don’t understand what’s going on. I play COD WAW on-line with multiplayer on various servers, and love it. I plan on getting MW2 and do the same. Is it not possible to do this with MW2? or have things changed with this MW2 pc game? Thanks

Its actually a simulator…Its called Whirl Wind over Vietnam, It got some really crappy reviews but despite that I decided to get it so I did because theres hardly no Games Based on that particular war especially flight simulators so I ordered it and havent recieved it yet but before I do I was just wondering…My computer has a Geforce 6150Le Processor, The minimum for the game is like a geforce 6500, does this necissarily mean I wont be able to play it, Or it will just take a big hit on the Graphics side of things, Like it will play however it wont look as great and Be slower? All other Requirements would be met Besides the Graphics card. Any help would be appreciated, Thanks

I’m thinking of buying Prey for my girl, she’s played stuff like Halo, and probably the scariest games she’s ever played without freaking out would be Swat 4 and BloodRayne.

She doesn’t like horror movies, though, and gets quite upset when she’s scared. So I read a few reviews on Prey and some suggested it was quite scary. She’s not scared of gore or disturbing sequences, but more of the ’scary-monster-pops-up-in-your-face’ variety.

Was wondering whether the reviewers were right or they’re just being pussies about the gore and stuff like kids getting impaled. If the scary level is on par with Swat 4 or BloodRayne I suppose it’ll be alright to buy it for her.

I am debating between Tomb Raider Underworld, Fable, and Spore.
Tomb Raider is one of my favorite games. I have always loved it and have played almost all of the games. I love the type of gameplay it has.
Fable seems like it would be fun because I like the fact that you can choose which path you take and the choices you make effect the game. It seems pretty awesome.
Now I am a HUGE fan of the sims 2 (cant wait for sims 3!) and so Spore seems interesting to me as well. The whole creating a creature and everything seems awesome.

Anyway I know that they are all different but I need some help choosing!!! Please if you have played these games I would love for you to review them and give me your opinion!!!

Ok, i wanna buy this game, but I’m afraid that it will run too slow for my comp. These are the details on my computer: Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 1.80GHz
1.80 GHz, 504 MB of RAM

I have tried to play ENTER THE MATRIX, and that game runs sooooo slow, you can’t even play it. Will Halo run that slow? The reviews said it ran about 30 frames per second, is that as fast as, say, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City? Or is it a LOT slower?

I don’t have the details on my grapic card or anything like that, if you need to know that info, lemme know how to get that information and I will post it.

I might be getting it today. BUT I want everyone who owns this game and has already played it to post there reviews for me. I don’t want to go out and buy a game if its not worth my money. Like whats the difference between sims 2 and sims 3? Alot of people are saying that Sims 3 doesnt have a lot of objects like the Sims 2 does. And after they say that they say its a waste of money. Or you cant make your own neighborhood on sims 2. Is this all true? I just want to know that AND is Sims 3 worth my money? And which one to buy? the collectors edition or just the cd?

Hey what’s up? I’m a hardcore PC gamer. Looking for a game to entertain me until L4D 2 comes out. I’ll play any games strategy, online, action, or whatever. Price is no object because because I just got a raise. Oh don’t just put a game, put a review too and convince me to buy it. I already have/play L4D, TF2, Killing Floor, CSS, HL2, COD, Portal, Spore, Sims, W3 + WoW(account exp. T_T), Fallout, Gmod, and Empire. (don’t recommend anything that came out for the PS3 or 360 because i probably already bought it.)

First off, I LOVE the movie The Thing. Amazing, amazing movie.

What is the game for the PC like? If I liked the movie, would I like the game? I’m thinking of buying it. I have seen reviews on youtube for it. One guy really hated it, and some others liked it.

So is it worth getting if I liked the movie? What about it do you like or dislike?

I personally haven’t really got into any of the games. After reading multiple reviews about RE5 in PC Gamer and some articles online, they both stated that non-fans of RE 5 should buy it.

I would like your thoughts about it, should I take a risk and go for it? Or should I stay away?
