I connected a drive hard to my pc and installed it to the hardware. But now it wont appear in my computer Why?

It was installed by the computer and it appears in Device manager. It just doesnt appear on My Computer.

It has no partition defined, or if there IS a partition, the partition is not formatted or is a "non-dos" partition. The only way a drive appears is if Windows assigns it a drive letter and it has to be partitioned and formatted for Windows. Call up the Windows HELP system and search for formatting a hard disk.
