So I wanted to put all my music on my laptop so I would have all my stuff on there instead of the house computer.
But my problem is that when I plug my iPod in to my laptop it says I have to authorize this computer and it says to go to "store > authorize computer" but I don’t get that at all.
When iTunes is up i go to "iTunes store" and there’s nothing that says authorize computer. So I went online to their website and pressed the store button but all that took me too is to all the stuff to purchase like accessories and stuff.
So I’m so confused about this and all I want is for all my music to be on my laptop with all my other stuff.
So if you could please help me you would be amazing!!

I have 2 boys, and I’m so glad! I have seen several back to school commercials lately. One a few minutes ago had a girl, about 12 trying on about 20 different outfits. Is this really necessary? Notebooks and stuff were used as accessories! It seems to me there are no good role models for little girls anymore. Hannah Montana is kind of a fashion obsessed tramp.
So those of you with daughters…what do you think about all this?
Whatever happened to going to school to learn?

Ok i’m looking into a good fast web hosting site. There will be videos and lot of uploading to the site. I don’t want to get stuck with a host that has slow response time on load. I was looking on highspeedweb.net but i’m really not sure how good they are. has anyone had any issues with them? I also considered powweb.com, but i was reading that when your site starts getting alot of traffic your site delays alot. I just want to get something reliable for now and dont want to purchase a dedicated server at the moment. any ideas will be appreciated. Thanks!

I have an Olympus 5.0 megapixel digital camera and every battery I’m using, the camera just eats them. It takes AA batteries. The batteries I’m using now are basic Duracell’s. I’m looking for suggestions on the best brand of batteries that can give my camera more life. Thanks in advance!

I love my digital camera, but it is EXTREMELY outdated. I got it like four years ago and it only has 2.1 MP. I would like to be able to get it for under 0, and preferably about 0 - 0, if that’s possible. I would like at least 7 or 8 MegaPixels or more. And one more thing. The camera I have now has a very short battery life that drives me crazy. I have to replace the batteries every twenty minutes. Are there any good cameras that can keep the same battery for…I don’t know, a lot longer. Or - this may be unrealistic, but it’s worth a try - are there any that have a built in battery that stays charged a long time. Thanks so much for your help.

I’ve tried everything. Connected the USB and the laptop recognizes the comp. Ran the start-up disc everything came up good. When I try to print from Word I get an error message: cannot print due to a problem with the current printer set-up. Control panel->Printer shows the printer to be ready with 0 in queue and online (i’ve also tried offline) but each time I get that same error message. It is also set as the default printer. This printer did work on my previous computer with no problems. when i run the start-up disc - the icon for lexmark does not appear and i don’t find the program in accessories. I followed all directions and the lexmark website has been useless. When i try to delete the printer from the computer, everything goes into not-responding.
10,000 points to anyone who helps me!!

I’ve been using disposable cameras. I was thinking about buying a digital camera, because "that’s the thing these day".
What are the good and bad things about digital cameras ?

We have our direct tv reciever connected to our 720p tv, and in the adjacent room is our desktop computer. We would like to browse the internet and watch tv at the same time on the same monitor, is this possible through a special video card or a monitor that supports PIP? If so what would I need? Thanks.
I would also like to add that I would like to leave the reciever connected to the tv as well. Right now I have it connected through component cables, which leaves the hdmi port free. Also, is it possible to switch channels from the other room? There will be a wall between the reciever and the computer so the traditional IR controller won’t work.

I already know the answer, let see if you do.
4 year old HP desktop. You hit the "on" button, and the PC comes on for exactly 3 seconds and then shuts off.
This happens each time you turn it on.
What is wrong?
Need a hint?
For the short time the PC stays on, the fan in the power supply is turning….then slows to a stop.
Ok….if you said bad power supply…WRONG.
If you said dust and dirt and gunk around the fan…BINGO!!!
WE HAVE A WINNER!!!.
( This actually happened to me. I vacuumed all the gunk out, and it ran fine after that.)

Hi, I am running an eCommerce business that requires a regular web server with PHP and databases. I know most of the popular hosts out there charge /month for stuff like this.
But this particular company (not going to mention the name or else Yahoo might think this is an advertisement), says that they have more than 500,000 websites hosted, is specialized in business web hosting, guarantees 100% uptime, has 24/7 customer support, and basically says that they are "premium business hosting" and their pitch is that for /month you get the best quality hosting for your business (compared to -8/month).
This is NOT dedicated server hosting. Just regular web hosting, but they have everything.
Is this worth it? Would you do it for your business?
